"What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal." Albert Pine
This annual race is an honorable event dedicated to the life of Major Megan Malia McClung and all those wounded or killed inaction in the Global War on Terrorism. It is an observance of their sacrifice and to their strength and commitment to this nation. Our goal is to bring together the local community, military and civilian alike, as well as anyone who wants to help support this noble cause to recognize each service member who puts their life on the line. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Marines Program (A non-profit 503(c) charity) which helps aid Marines and FMF Navy Corpsmen wounded in action.
